The Randolph High School Mathematics Teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals. The ideal candidate will: • Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and various community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes, developing solutions, and planning curriculum. • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. • Plan and deliver effective and engaging instruction • Promote equity and appreciation of diversity • Maintain classroom management • Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement • Provide rigorous instruction aligned with the MA Common Core Practices and Standards • Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal and/or Department Head
